    3. Hello Ellen , Thankyou for your thought , it could open a door . Could be a cousin or nephew for Matthew is an uncommon name . Your Matthew could be the son of my Matthew`s brother . I do not know Matthew`s Parents but my Matthew would have been born c1800 and married c1830 to Julia Tobin . Do you know where your Ryans came from . 3. Janet   A brilliant job.   Well done. (I trust that you did the necessary micro pauses with all that typing.)   You jest at the number of John Ryans. My gt gr father was a John Ryan and any records for him just show Tipperary. Was it the town or the county? Then with a 15yr span for his possible birth date and no known Ryan family nickname I probably wouldn't even recognise my John Ryan.   But the name of Henry Ryan does appear  and in the right location so hope spring eternal.   Thank you :)   Take care.   Kevin rawford <[email protected]> wrote: From: Janet Crawford <[email protected]> Subject: [COTIPPERARY] 1870/71 Census, Clanwilliam Barony, Co Tipperary To: [email protected], [email protected] Received: Thursday, 1 March, 2012, 6:13 AM It is finished and if I ever have to type "John Ryan" again, it will be too soon. 3. Ann and all, It could not be more simple. Just go to the Archive page and in the upper right is a Search link. Click on that and type in your search term. One can also go to the main search page for all of Rootsweb and search across all the lists. This is the reason I try hard to get everything into the list itself so the search engines will pick it up.
