Hello, my name is Elizabeth Jones Meadows. I'm new to this mailing list. After doing genealogy for about a year now, I have been unable to trace my Costley line any farther than my Great Grandfather William Augusta Costley, so I'm hoping that someone out there will have a link. He was born June 28, 1858 in Georgia and married Martha Emeline Perry from Coweta Co. GA in 1884. He died on January 10, 1930 and is buried in Durant, OK. They had six children: Clytie, William Perry, Eddie Louise, Clifford E., Stirman Lamar, and my grandmother Mary Elizabeth. All of the children except the oldest were born in or around Ellis County, TX. I believe that William Augusta's father was also William and was also born in GA, but that is all I have.
