Pierson was one of 12 children of William C. Costley 1st and Margaret Hunter. Pierson and Martha had a daughter Martha Susan. Another child of Pierson and Martha: William C. 3rd and wife Amanda Reed named one of their daughters Martha Susan also. She was born 1/14/1861 and was my great grandmother.
