I'm new to the mailing list and thrilled to have found it. I am looking for anyone who may have traced the Cosentino branch of their family to Carlentini, SR, Sicilia. My g-g-grandfather was Pietro Cosentino who was married to Nunziatta Otte. They had a son Michele (Michael) who married Maria Militti, daughter of Domenico Militti and Lettrina Anzaldo. I don't know if my g-grandfather had siblings, but I believe he had at least one brother, Salvatore. My g-grandmother, Maria Militti had at least one sister, Sebastina. Michele and Maria had eight children, Pietro, Lattrina, Maria, Domenic, Giuseppe, Giuseppina, Salvator (my grandfather) and a daughter whose name I think was Sebastiana. Does this line look familiar to anyone? Nanci Cosentino
I just joined the mailing list -- does anyone out there know what this surname means? Thanks!

I am hunting for information on GUISEPPE (JOSEPH) COSENZA b. 1883 in Italyand JENNIE CARUSO COSENZA b. 1890 in Messina, Italy. They lived in Bronx, NY and owned ?COSENZA'S FISH MARKET there.
