Looking for info on JOEL K. MULLEN and wife LORA ANN PERKINS. (She went by Anna L. ) He died Aug 6, 1900, age 63 years, place unknown. (I have his funeral memorial card.) They had a mine in the area of Telluride, San Juan Co, or Durango, La plata co. They had an adopted daughter, MABEL MULLEN/METCALF. I have aphoto of her, about age 10, taken at Durango. Would someone please advise where I might find indexes which may show is death, and/or obit, and how I might find the location of any land they might have owned? Annie L. died here in Lincoln, Ne, and was buried next to her brother in 1927. Can anyone advise if there is a list having to do with mining in Colorado?, and (my puter went down to the bare bones, and I lost all bookmarks!) the URL for BLM homesteads and/or mines?
