    3. Hi, I cannot imagine how your request ended up in my email, but I too have been looking into Silverton families, specifically from the period 1910-1920, and more specifically of men who worked for the Mears and Wilfley mill. I've found material on some of the families in WWI draft records, the US Census and various Silverton newspapers, mostly the Standard and The Miner. Unfortunately, the names you list are none of them on my list, so I have nothing directly to conribute. Do you know that you can get a CD with 1980-1920 census records for San Juan County from S-K Publications, at <census@SKeensus.com>? I don't know whether the same source has the LaPlata census records. The draft records are available on microfilm, either from the National Archives or I understand they can be borrowed through a local LDS church. Another source that has been useful has been Freda Peterson's 2 volume book The Story of Hillside Cemetery which lists the people buried in the Silverton cemetery usually with a short biography. Good luck!
