Recent ROW postings prompted me to visit my forebear, Susan ROW, who married Richard STRAIGHT at St Allen 17 Jan 1702. Some years ago, I was unable to place Susan among several ROW families in the area. The Straight family seem to have come from Devon, and after a few generations, died out or returned to Devon. Susan and Richard Straight's great great grandson, Richard STRIGHT, and his wife, Mariamne nee HARRIS, were buried at Kenwyn. Their memorial stone has been used to repair the floor of Kenwyn Church.
