Dear all Wondered if anyone could help with this I have a George William Spencer COOK who passed away in Penzance Hospital in 1942 His Administration gives his date of death as 12th May in West Cornwall Hospital Penzance (coincidentally where I recently had an operation and was treated wonderfully) His address is given as Meredyth 37 Larrigan Penzance I can find a Larrigan Crescent is this the only Larrigan or has it changed name or ?? I have found an obit online which states he was a Waterguard Officer, an assistant preventative officer in fact, not sure what he was preventing though, anyone know what one did? It is assumed he was buried in Penzance or possibly Newlyn, does anyone know where that might be please? He was born in Hampshire in 1902 and I have much on the early part of his life but nothing from 1911 to his untimely death in 1942 except his marriage in 1935 and birth of one child (still living) Any help gratefully appreciated -- Nivard Ovington in Cornwall (UK)
