Hello, I came across a record of lawsuit, whose parties included Rowe in St. Columb Major. Actually, beginning in 1571 christening records, there is a goodly plenty of the surname and its variants, such as RAW, ROE, ROO, RO, and ROE, as well as ROWE. There seems to have been a marriage between the ROWE and TOME families. I thought that this may be help, if you did not know of these already. And perhaps it is not your line. Regards, Steade
Thank you for answering, Steade, I have found no one that lived in St Columb Major. Also the name ROWE never changed in it's spelling since I started working on that line. I appreciate any help, though.
