I am hoping this relates to John PROUT who left Cornwall in 1913 heading to Quebec, and in 1916 was in Paris, Ontario when he applied to join the Canadian Expeditionary Force. His attestation paper number is 270060 showing he joined the 215th Battalion but for some reason he didn’t appear on the CEF lists of those who came over to England in 1917 to help in the war effort here. I’m trying to find out what happened to him. > > Many thanks > > Jean
