    3. Hello all, Does anyone know or have family for John Penberthy Will Admon 1690 who married Mary Edwards? Probably in Uny Lelant Cornwall They had a son Stephen Penberthy who married Ann Thurleby 1679. Her father was John. I think that I am missing a generation before Richard Penberthy who married Bridget Moorshead in 1723 a widow. He was born 1692 and died 1726. They had a son Stephen in 1724. I can now go down further to present day. There is a comprehensive story about The Penberthy Family, however these are mostly William and the Burger of St. Ives 1685 etc. Must be cousins. I doubt if anyone has done this side. Just wondering! Thank you from Western Australia. Diane Penberthy >From Diane Penberthy, sent from my iPad.

    3. Diane, Way back in the 1990s, Kathy Weigel placed on line the following abstract of John PENBERTHY's 1690 estate administration: "Administration granted 27 January 1689/90; MARY PENBERTHY, relict, renounces in favor of her son STEPHEN PENBERTHY. Bondsmen said STEPHEN PENBERTHY, farmer, of Lelant; GEORGE TRANICK, farmer, of St. Erth; WILLIAM MITCHELL, of Lelant. Inventory 5 January 1689/90 by GEORGE TRANICK & WILLIAM MITCHELL. AP/P/1658" Hope this helps! 3. Hello Diane I have a few PENBERTHYs who lived in the Uny Lelant area. I haven't done much about them as they are merely a twig on my tree. Marianne PENBERTHY m. William Freethy BODINNAR on 23 Mar 1843 at Uny Lelant. Marianne's parents being Charles PENBERTHY and Jane JENKYN.
