At Truro Vean Tean Terrace, Truro, on the 17th inst., Judith MOORE, relict of the late Rev. W. MOORE, aged 75 years. She was greatly loved, and will long be remembered by a large circle of friends. . In Lemon Street, Truro, at the residence of her aunt, on Tuesday last, Edith Ann, the second and beloved daughter of Mr. William R. ROUSE. . At 9, Strangways Terrace, Truro, on Tuesday last, Arthur Downey, youngest son of Henry LAMBE, Esq., aged 23 years. . At Truro, on Tuesday last, Sophia, wife of Mr. Richard BARRETT, Builder, &c., aged 35 years. . At his residence, Erisey-terrace, Falmouth, on Wednesday last, after a very protracted illness, James CORNISH, Esq., surgeon, aged 66 years. Mr. CORNISH was an Alderman, a permanent magistrate, and several times the Mayor of that borough, the duties of which offices he filled, till disqualified by sickness, with ability and judgment, and to the satisfaction of his townsmen. From early youth to matured age, he imbibed advanced views and opinions on political questions, and possessed of a naturally brilliant, aided by a cultivated talent, he contributed greatly to give a progressive tone to liberal principles in his native town, the welfare of which he always had much at heart and invariably advocated. For a lengthened period the deceased occupied a prominent position in all public matters, whether connected with the political or the social interests of the town, or the more extended ones of the county. His polished taste and literary research, his frank manner and benevolent ! disposition, combined with a readiness of speech and a congeniality of spirit, rendered him at all times a desirable and instructive companion. In his removal the Masonic body of Cornwall have sustained the loss of another exalted and most intelligent Brother of their benevolent order, and whilst his decease is regretted, his memory will be long and fondly cherished alike by his afflicted relatives and by many surviving friends. About thirty years ago the present Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr. DISRAELI, made the personal acquaintance of Mr. CORNISH, and appreciated his critical taste and literary lore, and on his recent visit to the county, availed himself of the opportunity of renewing the acquaintance. .     3. Mary Elizabeth was indeed their only child AT THAT TIME. Philip RIDDLE and his wife Elizabeth (née WHITING) had two more children at Cardinham (1860 and 1863) after which Philip died in 1864. In 1868, Elizabeth married my widowed 2ggf, John Coppin.
