DEar All, After visiting the DCLI musuem in Bodmin last week, we found out that Bert Roberts (born 1881, Illogan) enlisted in the DCLI on enlisted 31 March 1915 (Service no 20920) with the 10th (Pioneer) Battalion DCLI. He was a corporal serving with the 10th battalion DCLI. Gassed. Medals British War Medal, Allied Victory Medal. Apparently he was "Formerley Royal Cornwall Miners" - Does anybody know where these records are kept? (even Kew has only one record). Any further info very welcome.
