Hi Julia I believe Mary Rogers did marry Henry Eddy (baptised 3 Sep 1823 St Just, son of Peter Eddy and Mary Edmonds who married on 6 Feb 1816 at St Hilary). Henry Edmonds Eddy died in 1884 at Beaufort in Victoria, Australia, aged 63. Mary Eddy died in 1890 at Beaufort in Victoria aged 67 (parents Rogers and Margt Thomas). They had John Thomas, 1790 - 1868, and Peggy Knight Thomas, 1789 - 1856. John married Eleanor EVA in 1815; I've already asked about their children- still can't identify which William Thomas b. 1816, Redruth, in the censuses was born to this pair. (there are 3 candidates thusfar). Their son John b. 1818, married Eliza James in 1843, and moved to Kent, then on to Yorkshire, where they lived to a good old age. Their sons Henry and James emigrated to the U.S in 1850; Henry then went to Australia the following year. (so there's no record of his emigration from the U.K. to Aus.) But I digress...... > > Peggy Knight Thomas married John Rogers in Camborne, 1816. I haven't been able to locate her in FreeBMD - nor any death/burial records, nor in any census. But I haven't discovered a link to the Tyack family in the John Thomas/Eleanor Eva lines. I'd hoped it might have come through the Rogers, but haven't found it there, either. > > Might anyone have a clue? > > Thanks for any ideas or links. > > > Julia M. > > West Briton Transcriptions, 1836-1856 at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~wbritonad > St. Austell Area History and Genealogy at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~staustell > > ------------------------------- > Listmom: ybowers@gmail.com or CORNISH-GEN-admin@rootsweb.com > > Visit the OPC (Online Parish Clerk) web page for transcription information http://www.cornwall-opc.org/ > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to CORNISH-GEN-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message > >
