    3. Hi, I have not been on the list for a while, as I have been researching the maternal line of my tree. I am now back on my paternal line and trying to find info on my 6 x gt grandparents Gregory HONEYCHURCH of Madron and Penzance? and his wife Elizabeth - surname unknown. I have no their info on them except for their children as stated below. Their daughter - my 5 gt. grandmother - Jane HONEYCHURCH was baptised 4 Nov 1748 in Penzance . She married Richard Williams on 26 Jun 1769 Madron with Penzance. Jane was one of 5 children that I have found so far for Gregory and Elizabeth: Gregory born 17 Apr 1744 an bapt 17 Jun 1744 Penzance John born 23 Mar 1746 and bapt 23 May 1746 Penzance William born 13 Jul 1750 and bapt 13 Sep 1750 Penzance Elizabeth bapt 12 Aug 1753 Penzance On the baptism image for their children beside the entry for Gregory and John it states;- “ Note these two being omitted to be recorded in their proper place are here recorded” I don’t know what this means. The HONEYCHURCH line were Quakers and I have found quite a bit of info on IGI, thegenealogist, ancestry, findmypast, and the Cornwall OPC site. I would like to be able to link my Gregory to other HONEYCHURCH families in Cornwall but cannot get back further until I have found his marriage to Elizabeth, which I cannot find anywhere in England under any spelling of HONEYCHURCH. The name Gregory seems to be very popular and there are at least 2 or 3 people in each family that have the name, which makes things a little harder, but I still cannot find a marriage that fits the right timeframe. Can anyone help? Thanks. Kind regards Lesley

    3. Hi Lesley, Have you checked the dates for the baptisms before the ones you are interested in? It could just be that they were 'forgotten' about until the little scrap of paper was found, and then entered after later baptisms in the register. Nothing sinister, I'm sure, Best wishes, Di OPC for Lezant, Lawhitton and Stoke Climsland Cornwall On 5 May 2015 at 17:19, Lesley Styles via <cornish-gen@rootsweb.com> wrote: > Hi, > > > I have not been on the list for a while, as I have been researching the > maternal line of my tree. > > > I am now back on my paternal line and trying to find info on my 6 x gt > grandparents Gregory HONEYCHURCH of Madron and Penzance? and his wife > Elizabeth - surname unknown.
