Does anyone know if death records are available in Grass Valley? I have a Cornish ancestor, William James Reynolds, born in Mingoose, married in Truro, who reportedly died in Grass Valley in 1885. And are any shipping records to the USA available for the period 1881-1885? He was at Towan Cross, St. Agnes, in the 1881 census, and died in Grass Valley in 1885. This time period seems to be before the Elis Island records and the immigration records held by FMP.
