    3. Hi Pamela Actually William H Nicholls was missing on the 1841 census, in Kenwyn on the 1851 census and then the 1861 and 1871 census show a William H Nicholls of MIDDX LONDON which is why I asked if he was a relation. You obviously think this was the same person, possibly but strange that he started giving his birth place as London. I see you are suggesting that Elizabeth Warring was William's sister. I only show him as having a brother, John 1802 Wells and Elizabeth from the 1871 census came from Newlyn East. Of course the other confusing thing is that there were 2 William Nicholls deaths registered in Truro between 1871 and 1881, one showing he was born c1800 and the other c1801. This also point to the William H of london being a different one to William H of Somerset. The censuses are all available on freencensus http://freecen.rootsweb.com/cgi/search.pl By the way the town George May was born in is actually Cullompton Devon, it's spelt incorrectly in the census.
