    3. Hi Elizabeth If they were Bible Christians, Peter's baptism would be on the Non-Conformist registers, not the Parish registers. The NC circuits covered large areas similar to the registration districts of today, one circuit covering many parishes, the NC priests visiting different chapels in turn. The OPC site does have some NC registers transcribed but by no means all, so maybe his record is just not online yet. I have bookmarked it. I found Peter's sister Ann, brother John, and the marriage for his parents, but nothing for Peter. I did a search under his mother and father's name in case he had another first name - but there was nothing for him. Perhaps he was baptised outside of Cornwall. I appreciate your help. Elizabeth

    3. Hi Kay, I understand your comment about the Parish registers. I was hoping if his brother and sister were listed on the website Peter's baptism would be there too. However, it's good to know that this is a work in progress and I will check back from time to time to see if his name appears. Where would the Non-Conformist registers be kept? Are they available to the public if I have the chance to visit?
