JOHN WOODROW, Wesleyan Minister, aged 86 years, He was a native of Norfolk, and became a convert to Christianity and Methodism through the instrumentality of the early Methodist preachers,He became a Methodist travelling preacher in 1787, and in his early life he was appointed by Mr. WESLEY to travel in Ireland, where he remained for several years, and married there, He afterwards travelled twenty successive years in Cornwall as superintendent of nearly all the then Cornish Circuits, and was chairman of the district, He was peculiarly and affectionately attached to the Cornish people ever afterwards.
