I'm trying to piece together the puzzle for my Freethy family tree, and connect with all Freethy Descendant's, because what i am finding i'm unsure about, although it's all fitting together nicely, as far as it being accurate, i'm unsure about it, so i would like some help please.
Why do I appear to be the only member of the Guild of one name studies GOONS for short identifying and referring individuals to other Goons Have you checked your unusual name against those entered in the register of one name studies www.one-name.org Should your contacts prove to be negative perhaps you could consider helping those one name studies by providing whatever information you have in case it allows links to be established with other interested parties Freethy is listed ----- Original Message ----- From: "Corinne Freethy" <> To: <CORNISH-GEN@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, March 03, 2010 3:52 AM Subject: [CORNISH-GEN] My Freethy Brick Wall > > I'm trying to piece together the puzzle for my Freethy family tree, > and connect with all Freethy Descendant's, because what i am finding > i'm unsure about, although it's all fitting together nicely, as far > as it being accurate, i'm unsure about it, so i would like some help > please. > > ------------------------------- > Listmom: ybowers@gmail.com or CORNISH-GEN-admin@rootsweb.com > > Visit the OPC (Online Parish Clerk) web page for transcription information > http://www.cornwall-opc.org/ > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to > CORNISH-GEN-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the > quotes in the subject and the body of the message > >
I've wondered about GOONS for my surname several times, but have never worked out how to fulfil their registration commitments ... I'd love to do it worldwide, but some countries have no records or have no way of accessing them.
