Dear Mary I was pleased to see the address you gave re Natal Wesleyan Methodist members. I was wondering if there are any records of later members, please? My maternal grandmother's sister, Olivia POLGLASE BORN 1864 married Edwin MATTHEWS 1890 and had three children, some of whom I believe ended up in South Africa. I was wondering if there were any later records I could check, please? Edwin and Olivia had three children: Ellen Polglase MATTHEWS 1891 married Herbert B. UNWIN 1919 died 1964 Edward Polglase MATTHEWS 1893 married Dorothy ROPER died 1972 Olive Beadon MATTHEWS 1894 married Arthur John VIGURS 1921 died 1978 John VIGURS AND Olive Beadon Matthews had a daughter Joy Ninette VIGURS, born 1922, who married M.N.A.MAROUDAS who was believed to be a missionary. I have pictures of her in South Africa where she died in 1995. Her body was then repatriated to Cornwall and she was buried in Veryan in 1995. My problem is, how can I go about finding ou what happened to this family??? The sparse information was passed on by a 90-year-old cousin who gave up family history some years ago because of her poor health, and has left me to carry on!! Her husband sadly died last year and her daughter is seriously ill herself and in a wheelchair so I feel they have more than enough on their hands to be able to cope with family history! Any assistance from anywhere would be gratefully accepted!!!!!
