In response to Judith Upton, Mary Ann's maiden name was Hockin and she was born in St. Stephen in Brannel in 1829. She married Thomas Eslick at Newlyn (East) in 1847. The certificate states that she was "of age"! Thomas died in December 1871 aged 47. Cheers for now, Horton
