Hi Migs When I Googled your Ancestors Name the following came up in South Africa so thought it might be worth following up as there might be a Family connection and South Africa was a place for Gold Miners : Richard Plummer Burgess Tonkin at : http://www.desmond-mcallister.info/Eng/Ancestors/aqwg436.htm Richard Plummer Burgess does not seem to appear in the 1841 England Census.
