The transcriber (Kathy Bretthauer at kitbrett13@yahoo.com) should be able to supply you with the film number. There are many possible reasons for a baptism in that year. 1. As already suggested, he was a late "post-script" to the family 2. He wasn't baptised as a child and decided that he wished to be because - a. of his beliefs b. his father's death reminded him of his own mortality c. he wanted to be married and the cleric wouldn't allow that for unbaptised people d. he was emigrating and preferred to be baptised before doing so. I'm sure others can suggest alternative reasons.
