    1. [CORNISH] Pillaton and St. Stephen in Brannel

    3. Could someone tell me the likelihood of a person being born in Pillaton, Cornwall (as noted in censuses), and then being baptised in St. Stephen in Brannel? Google tells me they are 38 miles apart. I am researching the Cundy / Cunday line and it seems other researchers often report a birth in Pillaton, and the baptism in St. Stephen in Brannel. In the example below of 2 censuses of same family, what does one infer from the "St. Stephens" birth? Many thanks, Anne 1851 Census, Pillaton, Cornwall. 3. I think the St Stephens refers to St Stephens by Saltash which is 5 miles from Pillaton.     Regards,   Joy ________________________________ From: Anne Brooks <anbrooks@nbnet.nb.ca> To: CORNISH@rootsweb.com Sent: Sunday, 25 November 2012, 13:54 Subject: [CORNISH] Pillaton and St. Stephen in Brannel Could someone tell me the likelihood of a person being born in Pillaton, Cornwall (as noted in censuses), and then being baptised in St. Stephen in Brannel?
