My connection is to the Wadges but it is interesting that your Mary Broad died in Altarnun, because Altarnun and Lewannick were the villages where the Wadge family originated. William Henry was one of the illegitimate children of Catherine Wadge 1797 and that may be the reason that his parents were 'unknown' on his death in 1877. Sue.
