I saw on the TV news tonight that David Beckham lit the Olympic flame in "Helston, England". Don't they mean "Helston, Cornwall, U.K."? Oops!!! Jan in San Diego California

Oops!! Is right, although I didn't pick that up.... ....it's been an amazing day here in Cornwall...we were up at 7am to watch the flame arrive at Lands End by a RNAS Culdrose search and rescue helicopter, then a couple of hours later we walked to the end of our road to see the torchbearer finish the first stint at Penzance/ Madron road just past the cemetery, before going by road to Marazion and the nest team of bearers. It was quite an emotional occasion...which to be honest I wasn't expecting.....but for Cornwall to be at the forefront of such a huge occasion and making history was wonderful..... ...It was also great to see one of Cornwall greatest contributed to the occasion...Sir Humphrey Davys miners lamps were used to carry the flame in safety.
