    3. Indeed it was a son, baptised William Alfred Roberts TREWEEKE, who was born to Stephen Henry (labourer) and Mary Anne Treweeke (baptised 17-Aug 1856). The Treweekes seem to be from Breage, according to the 1861 census. The baptismal record for young William shows Stephen as a labourer, but in 1861 he was a farmer at Anhea (Anhay) which was being farmed by James Oppy in 1851! So perhaps Stephen was still learning the ropes when William came along in 1856. And the other Gunwalloe birth was Edward John FREEMAN the son of James FREEMAN (farmer) of Chyvarloe and Elizabeth (nee HOCKING). Edward was baptised on 15-Jun 1856. Elizabeth was originally from Wendron and was shown as a servant in the house of James FREEMAN back in the 1851 census, some 17 years younger than James. It is just terrific the way the various sources available to us today can paint wonderful little vignettes of these people from the past.
