Deaar Mistress Agnes: Alas and alack, I fear I have always fastened my laces in a ladder (straight across fashion)but now I a heeding Mrs P. and this morning I criss-crossed them and perhaps I'll have more fun today! Mind you, I had to get one of the prison warders in to help me and he turned out to be quite a saucy thing - I shall get his help in undoing the laces tonight and who knows what may happen!!!
