I am actually going to give a talk on the 1849 Cholera outbreak at Mevagissey several months time.  Years ago I transcribed all the articles but I think I missed one week!! I live at Gorran haven about 3 miles from mevagissey.  i have done years of research about my mevagissey families.  So to search for mevagissey brings up some very interesting articles!!
