I won't be joining the festivities this year, as 2013 has not been a good one for us. We lost one of our daughters very suddenly, in July, and are still struggling to cope. However, I don't want to dampen the enthusiasm, and just wanted to hark back a bit to earlier times, 1998 to be precise, when my week old grandson was the baby in the manger. He will be 15 on December 18th, and is now 171cms(5.7in) tall. I'm not sure how many of the prospective party goers were there that year but I'm sure that Connie remembers.
