Hi JimS and all Thanks for that. A good video but a bit unfortunate that he initially appears to be talking about Vista but really XP; a bit of a brain blackout, he admits. Now this is also supposing that the recommended programs are still doing their job as time progresses. Personally I think this might be an unknown? My wife's 'Acer Aspire' has some limitations but still chugs along quite nicely. Might keep it going for a while yet despite being nearly 9 years old?
