My deceased husband was a descendent of John Corlew of Missouri. As a matter of fact, my husband, Trelon Wayne Corlew, is John Corlew's great grandson. I think. Anyhow, I think that I have the information that you are looking for. I have in my possession a chapter from a book called "We Were Here" by Larry &Vi Corlew. The chapter has to do with John & Debora (Gore) Corlew. Beyond that it has to do with the relatives all the way back to France.
