    3. Edwin is my wife's grandfather. You are correct on cecil being Ancel. When this was posted my father in law remembered the name as Cecil. He never met either one of them. He was the son of Edwin's third marriage. My understanding is that Ancel and Grace eneded up in California. -----Original Message----- >From: "gc-gateway@rootsweb.com" <gc-gateway@rootsweb.com> >Sent: Dec 4, 2008 9:54 PM >To: CORLEW-L@rootsweb.com >Subject: Re: [CORLEW] Edwin ,Cecil or Grace Corlew > >This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > >Author: cbunte >Surnames: >Classification: queries > >Message Board URL: > >http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.corlew/4.1.2.1/mb.ashx > >Message Board Post: > >I have no clue who Cecil is. Perhaps it's supposed to be Ansel (or Ancel). Although Grace's last name was Underwood, she used the name Corlew. In about 1910 she sent my grandfather a postcard and signed it Grace Corlew. I haven't been able to find her after the 1910 census. > >Important Note: >The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
