The Piceance School was built by James Gray, my great grandfather, in about 1889. According to a picture I just received from a distant cousin there is a plaque on the building and it has J. G. then some other letters. We cannot make out what the other letters are or what they mean. Could anyone on the list possibly tell us? We would appreciate it very much. Thank you Frank

There is another structure just a few miles north of the school. It appears to be a two story structure with some old corrals on the south side of the property. Would love to know its history and if it was built by the same person that built the school. I noticed many similarities in these two structures. Also, I am looking for old pictures of these structures. Thank you.

I am trying to verify if they had a daughter or granddaughter, Isabell Hossack, who is the same Isabell who married Charles Hart approximately 1909, and lived in Delta, CO. Charles and Isabell had a daughter, Della. I think that they then moved to Montana. Isabell may have remarried Earl Doverspike. Della married Albert Deyoung in ID. Does this ring a bell with any other descendents? In 1910 there were 7 living children of Wm. and Isabell Hossack.
