    2. OK ... Where I was confused was with Broderbund. Lets see if I have it right now. I was assuming that Broderbund was associated with Genealogy.com. Broderbund sold FTM to Genealogy.com, Genealogy.com just sold it for them? Genealogy.com and GenForum were connected, though, right? I was thinking this was why GenForum went downhill ... that it had slid with Genealogy.com. You have too good of a memory. Debbie Broderbund Software sold Family Treemaker quite early on. FTM was originally a family owned business under the name Bannerblu Software--FTM actually had quite a chain of sales from company to company--Mattel, The Learning Company, etc. until FTM and Genealogy.com and the GenForum message boards were eventually sold to MyFamily.com (now TGN). I don't believe GenForum ever had any connection to Broderbund Software.
