Richard, I am not blaming everything on Ancestry, nor do I get any "free lunch". Ancestry is quite expensive and I have paid for it for years -- Genealogy is not a cheap hobby. I am merely pointing out my objection to selling back to us our own work, whether it's an index or not, and pointing out why I will buy web space rather than use the Rootsweb "Free" space, which is far from "free." We pay for it through our Ancestry.com and Genealogy.com subscriptions. Debbie Yeah.
