Wrong. The person who gave you the document is part of the source, just as if you had taken the same document from a book. Debbie This is the absolute last I'm going to say on the subject (which I'm sure is going to make many list members happy <g>) but giving proper credit to someone who helped you out isn't the same thing as SOURCING. There is nothing wrong with thanking a person for supplying you with a document--but that doesn't make the person the SOURCE of the fact the document is supporting -- the document the person supplied to you is the source.
