Hi After searching through the archives I dont come across any query or answer to my question (I could have missed it though) my appologies if its been asked before. I've had an offer of a few photos and advertisements from a book dated 1939, its an original copy of an England City Council Commercial handbook. Would I be right in believing the adverts would be free of any copyright as they are classed as "facts" but the photos may not be. Or would the book now be out of any copyright. Les, You need to check United Kingdom's version of copyright law. Not all rules are universal.
