    3. HeritageQuest does not hold the copyright. The works are in the public domain and free to use as you see fit. They may 'own' the images of the book on their website. I am in the middle of scanning some books from various libraries for my own personal digital library. Eventually I am hoping to have an online library of books, modeled after Project Gutenberg, http://www.gutenberg.org.
