My g-g-grandmother Matilda Rockwell, enumerated in January 1920 as an inmate of Colorado State Hospital (Pueblo), died there 10 March 1920. I would like to find her obituary. Her married son Merritt E. Rockwell and his family, in the 1920 census, lived in Denver City, Denver Co., Colorado. If the Pueblo newspapers didn't carry Matilda's "obit" maybe at least one in Denver City did. I am told that, in 1920, the Pueblo newspapers were the Pueblo Chieftain and the Star-JournalÂ…and the Denver City newspapers were the Denver Post and the Rocky Mountain News. I have the current mailing address, but no e-mail address, for the publishers of the Pueblo Chieftain, the Denver Post, and the Rocky Mountain News. Before I write letters to these publishers (I am hearing- impaired so will not try to use the telephone) does anyone know the e-mail access to these publishers or to libraries holding the archives / microfilm of their newspapers?
