Cemeteries, 1893 & 1898-99 The several cemeteries are located just north of the north boundary of the city. There are four sub-divisions. The two nearest the city are the Masonic on the left and the Odd Fellows on the right, and adjoining the Masonic Cemetery on the north is the city cemetery proper. Adjoining the Odd Fellows cemetery on the north is the county cemetery or Potters Field. The Masonic and Odd Fellows Cemetery belong to those orders, and are appropriated for the use of their members, under their respective regulations. The city cemetery belongs to the city of Pueblo (the 1893 directory adds "and the use of the public at large"; the 1889 directory adds "not in use"). The west end of the city cemetery has been set apart as a Jewish cemetery. The price of lots and other information can be obtained at the City Hall by application to the clerk. Mountain View Cemetery - Beulah and Northern Avenues, Bessemer. Said cemetery is divided into two parts, the south west being the Catholic cemetery and the north western part being the city cemetery. Pueblo Cemetery Association (River View) - St. Charles Mesa, two and one-half miles from the Post Office, contains 34 acres securely fenced. Plenty of water, trees, grass and shrubbery.
