After James' death his widow; Sarah Ann Shepherd Flannery married Isaac Blanton Wells. Ike Wells eventually settled in Nyberg, Pueblo County, Colorado (near present day North Avondale). Sarah and James' son Isaac Flannery has a colorful, although short, history. Please email me and I'll share history of the family in the Civil War, Quantrill and the outlaw James-Younger gang.
