His parents were Rachel REED and Willis WASHINGTON. I am in search of a connection to his maternal grandparents and any living descendants. His mother Rachel REED was born May 26, 1849 in either Clinton County Missouri or Kentucky. She was the daughter of James REED and Harriett MOORE. James and Harriett migrated to Colorado by way of the Trail of Tears. I would very much like to unite with family members, so my 85 year old grandmother can get to know this side of our family.
