    3. The Union Station was not that close to the Vail Hotel. It would be a hefty walk from the station to the Hotel. If you need details of the location of the Vail, just email me and I'll look up the intersection for you on a Pueblo map. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/DZ.2ADE/432 Message Board Post: I have an old snapshot which I believe was taken after the flood in Pueblo in 1921. In the bottom left corner is written "Union Ave. at Santa Fe R.R.". One building directly along side the railroad tracks is demolished. On the other side of the street are buildings with signs that read 'Keene & Baker Furniture', 'The Newton', 'Economy Clothing Co.'. Around the corner must be 'The Vail'. You can see the lettered sign from behind, extending above the building. Is this Pueblo? Are there other photos of the downtown area I could view for comparison? Thanks, Chris Penning chrispenning@mindspring.com
