According to his obituary, he died in Beulah, CO after 50 yrs. of pioneering. He was born abt. 1849-1851 in Buffalo, NY to William Henry Schuneman and unknown wife. He moved with his father and stepmother, Cornelia DeMerritt, to Wisconsin then to IA where his father died in a prairie fire (1860). He and his brothers George and Henry lived with their uncle in IA, then Frank and Henry moved to Beulah, CO during the Pike's Peak goldrush. Henry began farming and married in Beulah in 1878, then moved back to IA in 1881. Frank remained in Beulah until his death. No dates are given in the obit, and no date or name of paper is found. If anyone can help me find out more about Frank Schuneman, I'd greatly appreciate the help!!! THANKS!!
