"Pueblo Army Air Base - a Chronological History - 1942-1946", by Dr. Ray L. Sisson, has been published by the Pueblo Historical Aircraft Society. The well-documented book details the history of this B-24 bomber base. Contained in the book are maps of the base (now Pueblo's Memorial Airport), many photographs, copies of manuals and programs, etc. There is also a list of those crew members killed in crashes at the army air base, as well as an accident summary giving locations. The book is a valuable resource for descendants of those men who were stationed at the base or who flew B-24 bombers during World War II.
