Her residence there came about because her daughter, the only child as far as I know, was in the State Hospital and her mom needed to be close. As far as I know she died in the Early '50s but I am not certain. I do know that she lived at 1314 Francisco St in the early 1940's. Her name was Augusta Burkart and she was swedish. I would love to be able to begin to search in Sweden for Augusta and the one sister and two brothers that I know came eventually to Colorado. My grandfather was born in 1885 in Leadville.
