Looking for information on Joseph Ross b in Italy abt. 1887. He was married to Myrtle Barber b. 1891. Myrtle at 16 listed her name in Chaffee County as Frisquies on her marriage license which is not believed to be her real name. They had a daughter Mary born in 1908. Joseph filed with Immigration and Naturalization in 1904 in Boulder Co. In 1910 they were on the the census in Chaffee Co. Between 1910 and 1918 when Mary was placed for adoption after her mother couldn't care for her alone. Joseph was supposed to be killed in an accident where he was a smelter, possibly CF&I. No death certificate has been found. Mary remembers the area of Goats Hill and attending the Catholic Church in Pueblo. If any of this sounds familiar to anyone I would appreciate hearing from you. Also I read a message about CF&I records, where they are kept and about a museum which is in the making. If anyone can give me information on where the records are and the site for info. I would appreciate it. Thank you for your help. Donna Ross amb1ent@sprynet.com
