She was born in Pueblo, Plueblo county, to Emma,Louise (Peterson) Anderson and Joseph Anderson. Emma married Will Sterry after Joseph died in 1920. Elsie was a nurse in the 1920's at Corwin Hospital. They lived on East Evans Ave. in the 1940"s. I am interested in the Anderson/Peterson, lineage back to Sweden. Does anyone have any information . Her brother Emil was my great-grandfather. His obit states he was a member of the United Brethern church in Lamar. Also, his second child, Mollie was born December 20, 1889 (in CO according to the Conway Springs, Sumner Co., KS 1895 census.) Does anyone know anything about this church? Are there any other records for this area around this time besides the unsearchable 1890 census? I believe by 1891 this family was back in KS so they would only have been in CO for a short time, but there were other family members there, uncles that had been born also in Cape May,NJ and one aunt. Possibly other cousins also.
